On the 21st of June 2018, the Advisory Board of the VI Innovative Production Forum met at PwC’s office in Warsaw. The conversation was moderated by the Chairwoman of the Advisory Board, Joanna Makowiecka-Gaca, CEO of KARMAR S.A. and Dariusz Piotrowski, Director General, DELL EMC in Poland. During the discussion, the most important experts from the industry sector gave many questions, on the grounds of which the agenda of the next edition will be built. Does transformation 4.0 only concern the biggest companies? How are small companies coping with the changes? How can they prepare for changes? What technology is worth investing in? Where to start? During the congress, representatives of production companies will present case studies regarding their road to transformation. The discussion topics will focus on the problems faced by entrepreneurships: customization of production, prognosis of demand, increasing income and improving processes in the company. During the event there will be no lack of discussion about the work market. Speakers will debate on whether automation is a threat for people or is the lack of personnel the driving force behind the development of automation and robotics in factories. To facilitate and make the message more attractive, the formula of the congress will have a slight change. The agenda will be concentrated on business use cases and short, dynamic panels. At the end of every day, there will be a deeply substantive discussion at the round tables. The discussions will be hosted by experts in the given field, which was discussed during the day. You can find out more about what will be discussed during the VI Innovative Production Forum, with the preliminary agenda being published in the coming days.
